TWO Boca Juniors players have been hospitalised after River Plate fans ambushed their team bus ahead of the second leg of their Copa Libertadores final. After Boca's bus was attacked and several players hurt, delaying the Copa Liberatadores final was the right call. The Boca coach was ambushed prior to the Copa Libertadores final second leg, with at least one player taken to hospital.
The big Copa Libertadores final second leg on Saturday in Argentina between Boca Juniors and River Plate has been pushed back to Sunday. River Plate or Boca Juniors will have to wait to be crowned Copa Libertadores winners after Saturday's second leg was called off after Boca's bus was attacked. River Plate and Boca Juniors will square off in the decisive second leg of the Copa Libertadores final on Saturday. Met by a barrage of River Plate fans, the Boca Juniors bus was pelted with missiles and, crucially, tear gas.
